A dental cyst is a fluid-filled formation that develops as a result of bacteria entering the pulp chamber, leading to infection.
Signs of an eruption hematoma:

• The area next to the tooth about to emerge is swollen;
• Bluish color, as blood accumulates between the gum and the tooth;
• Painful sensation.
An eruption cyst occurs when baby teeth, upper incisors, or permanent molars are erupting (typically in children aged 6-8). This condition shouldn’t be alarming as it usually doesn’t require treatment.
Our doctors recommend maintaining good oral hygiene to avoid secondary infections. During teething, it’s also important to pay attention to the toys children put in their mouths, washing them frequently and ensuring they don’t have sharp edges that could cause injury.
However, if the cyst does not break and becomes infected, it's essential to visit the dentist immediately.
